For those no longer in full-time employment, our local, friendly group provides opportunities for exercise, for interesting and stimulating activities, and for making new friends.

Under What's On you will find outings, day trips and holidays for our members.

Building from Basics - Improve your Spanish

A new group led by Liz Watkin, who taught English in Barcelona for nearly 19 years, could start in October if enough people register an interest for it to proceed. A volunteer joint leader would be very helpful for backup.  Although time and venue have yet to be finalised, Wednesday or Thursday in the last week of the month are proposed. Contact Liz at lizziewatkin@yahoo.co.uk.

Forensic Psychology: Witness Investigation

The MOOC (massive open online course) group has completed courses on the First World War and Richard III. This is another MOOC from FutureLearn. It's free, an eight-week course requiring no more than three hours a week. For details and to sign up  for the course click here. The course starts on 4 September.
