Market Harborough & District U3A

Membership of MHU3A provides opportunities to further existing interests, discover new ones and, most importantly, to make new friends. Alongside our regular activities, there are also outings and holidays throughout the year that are available to all members.

Our Monthly Meetings, with guest speakers on a variety of topics, provide an opportunity to catch up with new and old friends, find out what’s happening, enjoy a coffee or tea, and pick up the current Newsletter*. Copies are also available at the Library, Cafe Nero, Blends and Quinns bookshop.

Members automatically belong to the national Third Age Trust, which entitles members to receive various discounts and other benefits, plus the Third Age Matters magazine.

How to Join

If MHU3A is your only, or primary, U3A the annual fee is £15. However, if you pay full membership to another U3A, then you only need pay the lower rate of £11.50.  (If claiming this reduction, please give the name of the other U3A and your membership number.) Membership subscription renewals are due by 1 January, our membership year running from January to December.

This fee entitles members to attend the general meetings, receive newsletters, and take part in various activities and interest groups. The groups may make a further charge to defray their expenses.
